The second World War began with Hitler seizing power in Germany and
taking Germany to be a superpower again. And in 1939 he decides to
invade Poland and then all of Europe. This gave America an opportunity
to be a world power. America first participated by funding the Allies with
war materials since America was able to mass produce products such
as cars, house items, food items, and war materials. Then America
declared war on Japan & Germany after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The War in Europe was over when the Red army took Berlin. It was
finally over though when Japan surrendered after America dropped the
two Atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
